Make it More Modern
Project Overview

I was tasked to create a modern and innovative website that highlights the client's drone specifications, while also featuring their online courses.
I would ensure that the website is easy to navigate and user-friendly, with clear calls to action that encourage visitors to explore the client's products and courses further. This could involve optimizing the website's layout and structure, using clear and concise language, and ensuring that key information is easy to find and access.
Interviews with Stakeholders

... I feel like our website is lacking excitement and personality. As we continue to grow and attract more visitors, I want to make sure our website properly showcases our products and courses in an attractive way. Can you create a visually appealing website that accurately represents our brand and helps potential customers easily find what they're looking for?...

Inconsistent linking within the website, including the 'Aircraft Design' project link

Visibility of System Status
Lack of clear visibility of the contact form on the 'Contact' page

User Control and Freedom
Uniformity in button and link styles

Match between System & Real World
Technical jargon and unfamiliar software names on certain pages

Home Page Interaction
Old Flow
Several participants expressed dissatisfaction with the requirement to click on the country each time they accessed a new course, deeming this step redundant and an unnecessary hindrance to their user experience.

My Recommendations
Issue #1
To address this issue comprehensively, I strategically relocated the location selector to the header. This modification allows users to change their location site-wide, ensuring that subsequent course views dynamically display information tailored to the selected location. The enhanced region selector now not only adjusts currency units but also considers class timings and other pertinent details specific to the chosen location or course.

Issue #2
I propose renaming the page to 'VTOL Drone,' a more explicit and informative label that aligns with user expectations. The content on the page remains unchanged, as it provides precise technical details about the drone. This adjustment is intended to streamline user navigation and improve the overall user experience, especially for those seeking information on the VTOL drone.

Header
Issue #3
I decided to remove the redundant menu entirely from the footer. This decision was informed by the website's overall simplicity, and it aims to reduce visual clutter while maintaining a consistent user interface. Second, to enhance user understanding and mitigate confusion, I introduced a clear label to the contact form, explicitly indicating its purpose as a 'Contact Us' form. This dual strategy is anticipated to significantly improve user navigation and comprehension, particularly in the footer section.
